FET SoLoMo Commerce Enables Real Time Bidding (RTB) of Contextual, Hyper Local Targeted Offers Empowering Retailers to Engage Millions of Mobile Consumers with a More Rewarding Experience While App Developers Monetize with Native Game Play Ads

TAIPEI, TAIWAN Octo­ber 9, 2013 — Far Eas­T­one, a lead­ing Tai­wan mobile tele­com oper­a­tor, unveils today FET SoLo­Mo pow­ered by Sirqul™ (www.sirqul.com), a mobile Engage­ment as a Ser­vice (EaaS) plat­form. FET is the first Asian tele­com extend­ing its mobile ser­vices to enable an all-inclu­sive SoLo­Mo com­merce plat­form for devel­op­ers, mer­chants, brands and retail­ers while con­sumers ben­e­fit from a rel­e­vant and reward­ing mobile expe­ri­ence.

The oppor­tu­ni­ty is to get the right ad, deal or offer to the right mobile con­sumer at just the right time. Deliv­er­ing a reward­ing, local­ized mobile expe­ri­ence to mil­lions of Tai­wan FET sub­scribers for every­day app usage, FET SoLo­Mo Com­merce, was cre­at­ed exclu­sive­ly in col­lab­o­ra­tion with Sirqul’s Engage­ment as a Ser­vice plat­form based on three main com­po­nents:

  • Sirqul App Devel­op­ment Plat­form — a suite of APIs for fea­ture rich, mul­ti-OS rapid app devel­op­ment includ­ing non-inva­sive ad units that mon­e­tize via engage­ments such as mis­sions, offers, deals and brand­ed game lev­els. Reach­ing mobile users when they’re most engaged and recep­tive to adver­tis­ing enables devel­op­ers to now mon­e­tize beyond pen­nies to dol­lars because con­sumers are more recep­tive to ads that feel native to the app or game expe­ri­ence.
  • Sirqul Retail­er Plat­form — an advertiser’s por­tal enabling mer­chants, brands and retail­ers to adver­tise rel­e­vant hyper-local deals, offers and prod­ucts on third-par­ty apps uti­liz­ing inter­ac­tive, native game play ads.
  • Sirqul Ad Serv­ing and RTB Plat­form — a con­tex­tu­al­ly rel­e­vant ad server tar­get­ing by demo­graph­ics, app, con­tent, behav­ior, and loca­tion data to auto­mat­i­cal­ly dis­play the ads that are the most rel­e­vant for each con­sumer.

FET’s aim to build up a devel­op­er ecosys­tem with more tools to third-par­ty devel­op­ers will be sup­port­ed with the help of their recent invest­ment in Hii­ir, the local app devel­op­ment launch part­ner.
