In this capac­i­ty, he led a team of sales and cus­tomer suc­cess pro­fes­sion­als increas­ing units shipped from strate­gic Sell­ers by +196% YoY and increas­ing sales from new Sell­ers using FBA by 110%. At Sirqul, Cifuentes leads all B2B and cus­tomer-fac­ing depart­ments includ­ing licens­ing, pro­fes­sion­al ser­vices, pro­duct devel­op­ment, oper­a­tions, sales and cus­tomer suc­cess. Cifuentes will bring a com­bi­na­tion of exten­sive sales expe­ri­ence, oper­a­tions improve­ment and glob­al go-to-mar­ket exper­tise to his work in ensur­ing Sirqul’s cus­tomer suc­cess ini­tia­tives. Pri­or to Dell, Cifuentes was an offi­cer in the Colom­bian Army and a Risk and Secu­ri­ty Con­sul­tant help­ing com­pa­nies like BP and Schlum­berg­er oper­ate in high risk areas in Colom­bia. His first expo­sure to tech­nol­o­gy was work­ing as a pro­gram man­ager at the Colom­bian Cus­toms Admin­is­tra­tion lead­ing a team of engi­neers in the devel­op­ment of an import/export fraud con­trol sys­tem lever­ag­ing arti­fi­cial neu­ral net­works and fuzzy log­ic. Cifuentes has a Bach­e­lor of Sci­ence in Eco­nom­ics from the Unit­ed States Mil­i­tary Acad­e­my at West Point where he attend­ed as a for­eign cadet and an MBA from the Har­vard Busi­ness School.
